Jembatan ini dibangun Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) di Kecamatan Petir, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jembatan Gantung Mekar Baru dibangun sepanjang 42 meter dengan lebar 1,5 meter untuk menghubungkan Desa Mekar Baru dan Desa Cikokok, Kecamatan Petir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anggaran pembangunannya sebesar Rp 2,6 miliar yang dikerjakan oleh kontraktor PT Rizky Cipta Guna Perkasa dengan melibatkan pekerja lokal dari sejumlah kampung di antaranya warga Kampung Cidokok, RT 06 RW 02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jembatan tersebut dibangun menggunakan anggaran tahun 2020 bertujuan untuk memperlancar mobilitas dan memangkas waktu tempuh antar desa yang sebelumnya harus memutar jauh akibat dipisahkan oleh kondisi geografis, seperti jurang, ataupun sungai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dikutip InfoInfrastruktur dari pu.go.id, Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono mengatakan, jembatan gantung merupakan salah satu wujud kebijakan Presiden Joko Widodo untuk membangun infrastruktur daerah perdesaan terutama yang sulit dijangkau sehingga lebih terbuka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHadirnya jembatan ini akan mempermudah dan mempersingkat waktu perjalanan masyarakat perdesaan menuju sekolah, pasar, tempat kerja, menyelesaikan urusan administrasi ke kantor kelurahan atau kecamatan dan akses silaturahmi antar warga,\u201d kata Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono beberapa waktu lalu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" src=\"https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2-1024x575.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1086\" srcset=\"https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2-1024x575.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2-768x431.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2-678x381.jpeg 678w, https:\/\/infoinfrastruktur.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2611-banten-Jembatan-Gantung-Mekar-Baru-Ditargetkan-Selesai-Desember-2020-2.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><strong><em>Jembatan Gantung Mekar Baru dibangun sepanjang 42 meter dengan lebar 1,5 meter untuk menghubungkan Desa Mekar Baru dan Desa Cikokok, Kecamatan Petir. (Foto: pu.go.id)<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kepala Balai Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Banten, Ditjen Bina Marga Wida Nurfaida mengatakan, Jembatan Gantung Mekar Baru dibangun sejak tanggal kontrak 11 September dengan masa pelaksanaan 112 hari kalender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Saat ini progres konstruksi sudah mencapai 72%, sesuai kontrak selesai 30 Desember 2020 tetapi kami targetkan selesai lebih cepat pada 21 Desember 2020 agar segera dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat,&#8221; ujar Wida Nurfaida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Selain jembatan kami juga akan membantu perbaikan jalan akses dan drainase menuju jembatan masing-masing sepanjang 300 meter. Kami berharap dengan selesainya jembatan nanti dapat dirawat dan dianfaatkan sebaik-baiknya,&#8221; tuturnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kepala Desa Mekar Baru Mudzakir merasa bersyukur dan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Kementerian PUPR atas dibangunnya jembatan tersebut. Menurut Mudzakir, kondisi jembatan sebelumnya sangat memprihatinkan karena hanya berupa cor tanpa besi pengamanan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Setiap hujan pasti jembatan sebelumnya tergenang air, karena berada di bawah jurang. Sudah banyak masyarakat yang nekat melintas jatuh, makanya kami sangat bersyukur akhirnya jembatan baru yang selama ini sudah ditunggu-tunggu masyarakat dibangun Kementerian PUPR untuk mempermudah mobilitas warga,&#8221; kata Mudzakir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Di Provinsi Banten, ada sekitar 30 jembatan gantung telah dibangun Kementerian PUPR. Pembangunan jembatan gantung merupakan usulan dari Pemerintah Daerah setempat, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM), TNI, dan DPRD yang diajukan kepada Kementerian PUPR dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi wilayah, sosial, ekonomi, potensi wilayah, dan kesesuaian lokasi, manfaat, dan urgensi pembangunan jembatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada 2015-2019, Kementerian PUPR telah membangun 300 jembatan gantung di seluruh Indonesia dengan anggaran Rp 1,4 triliun. Pada tahun 2015 dibangun 10 jembatan, pada tahun 2016 dibangun 7 jembatan, pada tahun 2017 dibangun 13 jembatan, dan pada tahun 2018 dan 2019 masing-masing dibangun 130 jembatan dan 140 jembatan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pembangunan jembatan gantung kembali dilanjutkan pada 2020. Hingga saat ini sudah ada 44 lokasi jembatan gantung yang sudah mendapat persetujuan untuk dibangun oleh Menteri PUPR. Dari jumlah tersebut, 6 di antaranya direncanakan dibangun di pulau Papua.
