Hal ini bertujuan untuk menjaga ketersediaan bahan pokok hasil pertanian dan air bersih terlebih disaat merebaknya pandemi COVID \u2013 19 dimana pangan dan air sangat diperlukan masyarakat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono menyampaikan instruksi Presiden Joko Widodo, bahwa pemerintah harus menjamin beberapa hal dalam masa pandemi COVID 19 untuk kebutuhan air yaitu pangan, kesehatan, dan pelayanan dasar. &#8220;Untuk itu Kementerian PUPR berupaya melakukan langkah-langkah antisipasi menjamin ketersediaan air saat musim kemarau tiba,\u201d kata Menteri Basuki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Berdasarkan hasil pantauan lapangan, tercatat total jumlah waduk operasional sebanyak 241 waduk yang meliputi 16 waduk utama dengan volume ketersediaan air sebesar 4.721 miliar m3 dengan areal irigasi yang tepat dapat dilayani sebesar 512.515 Ha (96,57%) dari total 530.738 Ha. Dari 16 bendungan\/waduk utama, 10 waduk memiliki tinggi muka air normal meliputi: Jatiluhur, Cirata, Saguling, Batutegi, Sutami, Wonorejo, Bili-Bili, Kalola, Way Rarem, dan Ponre-Ponre. Sementara 6 waduk memiliki tinggi muka air di bawah normal meliputi: Kedungombo, Wonogiri, Wadas Lintang, Cacaban, Selorejo, dan Batu Bulan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Selain waduk, Kementerian PUPR juga memantau ketersediaan air dari 4.227 embung dan 344 situ dengan volume tampungan total sebesar 338,8 m3. Disamping itu disiapkan juga 7.914 sumur bor dengan memanfaatkan jaringan irigasi air tanah dan air baku seluas 118.652 Ha dan air tanah untuk air baku sebesar 2.386 m3\/detik, 4.098 sumur bor berfungsi normal, sisanya 3.816 sumur bor mengalami gangguan operasional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Dari 4.098 sumur bor yang berfungsi normal tersebut tersebar di 7 Provinsi yakni Provinsi Sumatera 488 Sumur, Provinsi Kalimantan 46 Sumur, Provinsi Sulawesi 701 Sumur, Provinsi Jawa 1.514 Sumur, Provinsi Bali \u2013 Nusa Tenggara 1.190 Sumur, Provinsi Maluku 2 Sumur, dan Provinsi Papua 148 Sumur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Menurut data dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) perkiraan Awal Musim Kemarau 2020 akan terjadi pada bulan April, Mei (dominan), Juni, dan Juli, dan puncaknya akan terjadi di bulan Agustus hingga September 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Dampak kekeringan (hidrologis) tersebut diprediksi akan terjadi terutama pada di 10 provinsi yaitu, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, DIY, Jawa Timur, Sulsel, Bali, NTB, NTT, Maluku dan Papua dengan wilayah terdampak di 90 Kabupaten\/Kota. Selain itu untuk pertanian, wilayah yang diprediksi akan terdampak khususnya di 10 provinsi yaitu Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, DIY, Jawa Timur, Sulawesi Selatan, Bali, NTB, NTT, Maluku, dan Papua dengan luas area irigasi terdampak 1.142.168 Ha.
