Penjabat Gubernur Jawa Barat Bey Machmudin memimpin upacara peringatan Hari Bakti Pekerjaan Umum Ke- 79 Tahun 2024 Tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat di halaman depan Gedung Sate, Kota Bandung, Selasa (3\/12\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Membacakan sambutan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Republik Indonesia Dody Hanggodo, Bey Machmudin mengemukakan bahwa saat ini sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia tengah memasuki musim penghujan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Berdasarkan Climate Outlook 2025 yang diterbitkan oleh BMKG, pada akhir tahun 2024 dan awal tahun 2025, Indonesia akan menghadapi tantangan cuaca yang lebih ekstrem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curah hujan tinggi diprediksi akan lebih sering terjadi yang berpotensi mengakibatkan banjir dan longsor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Untuk itu saya ingin mengingatkan kembali instruksi saya kepada seluruh jajaran Kementerian PU untuk bersiap siaga dalam menghadapi situasi ini,&#8221; kata Menteri PU RI, lewat sambutan yang dibacakan Bey Machmudin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejumlah upaya menghadapi situasi tersebut, di antaranya dengan memastikan kesiapan infrastruktur mulai dari infrastruktur sumber daya air hingga jalan dan jembatan dalam kondisi baik dan berfungsi prima, dengan melakukan pemeriksaan dan perbaikan secara menyeluruh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selanjutnya, penguatan koordinasi dan komunikasi dengan kementerian\/lembaga dan internal Kementerian PU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Petugas di lapangan harus melaporkan kondisi infrastruktur secara berkala dan segera melaporkan potensi kedaruratan atau ancaman bencana,&#8221;
