Pelepasan kontainer ekspor produk kopi olahan PT. UCC Victo Oro Prima sebanyak 4,82 ton ke China digelar di Kawasan Industri Bogorindo, Sentul, Jawa Barat, Selasa (18\/8\/2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSemangat dunia usaha yang menjalankan kegiatan manufakturnya dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan yang ketat sangat membantu perputaran roda perekonomian nasional di masa yang cukup berat saat ini,\u201d kata Direktur Jenderal Industri Agro Kementerian Perindustrian Abdul Rochim, pada acara pelepasan kontainer ekspor produk kopi olahan PT. UCC Victo Oro Prima tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abdul Rochim menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada PT UCC Victo Oro Prima yang mampu meningkatkan pengapalan produknya ke pasar mancanegara. Hal ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi perusahan kopi olahan lainnya untuk lebih gencar memasarkan produknya ke pasar dalam maupun luar negeri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEkspor dalam masa pandemi Covid-19 ini, kami rasa bisa memotivasi kita semua, mulai dari pihak pemerintah hingga dunia usaha, bahwa peluang masih ada, sehingga kalau bisa semangat ini terus kita gerakkan,\u201d tuturnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain menghasilkan devisa, ekspor produk kopi olahan Indonesia juga bisa menjadi parameter eksistensi produk kopi olahan nasional di pasar internasional. Produk yang diekspor oleh PT UCC Victo Oro Prima berupa&nbsp;roasted coffee beans&nbsp;dengan tiga varian kopi, yakni kintamani&nbsp;blend,&nbsp;java blend,&nbsp;dan Toraja&nbsp;blend&nbsp;dengan total volume sebesar 4,82 ton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rochim mengemukakan, industri pengolahan kopi nasional tidak hanya menjadi pemain utama di pasar domestik, akan tetapi juga dikenal sebagai pemain global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDi tahun 2019, ekspor produk kopi olahan memberikan sumbangan pemasukan devisa sebesar USD610,89 juta, atau meningkat sekitar 5,33% dibanding tahun 2018,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Capaian positif tersebut tidak terlepas dari potensi Indonesia sebagai negara penghasil biji kopi terbesar keempat di dunia, setelah Brasil, Vietnam dan Kolombia, dengan produksi rata-rata sekitar 773 ribu ton per tahun atau 8% dari produksi kopi dunia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pada Januari-Juni 2020, di masa pandemi Covid-19, neraca perdagangan produk kopi olahan nasional masih mengalami surplus sebesar USD211,05 Juta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSaat ini, ekspor produk kopi olahan didominasi produk kopi olahan berbasis kopi instan, ekstrak, esens dan konsentrat kopi yang tersebar ke sejumlah negara tujuan utamanya seperti di kawasan ASEAN, China, dan Uni Emirat Arab,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guna meningkatkan daya saing produk kopi olahan Indonesia, Kemenperin terus aktif mendorong pengembangan sektor industrinya melalui penerapan berbagai kebijakan strategis. Misalnya, berupaya meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia seperti barista,&nbsp;roaster,&nbsp;dan penguji cita rasa (cupper).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selanjutnya, peningkatan nilai tambah biji kopi di dalam negeri, dan peningkatan mutu kopi olahan utamanya kopi sangrai (roasted bean) melalui penguasaan teknologi&nbsp;roasting, pengembangan standar produk (SNI) dan standar kompetensi kerja (SKKNI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rochim optimistis, Indonesia akan terus menjadi eksportir utama produk kopi olahan karena didukung pula dengan maraknya gaya hidup minum kopi di dunia. \u201cSelain itu, Indonesia yang tadinya dikenal sebagai produsen kopi, juga dikenal sebagai negara konsumen kopi,\u201d ujar Rochim dalam siaran pers yang disampaikan Kementerian Perindustrian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelum pandemi, perkembangan industri kopi di tanah air didorong oleh beberapa faktor seperti pertumbuhan kelas menengah, perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat dan apresiasi masyarakat Indonesia terhadap kopi lokal, sehingga konsumsi di dalam negeri meningkat cukup tinggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIndustri pengolahan kopi kemarin tumbuh cukup bagus, dengan adanya banyak kafe.
